Your home is a reflection of your personality, it should make you happy when you walk in the door, and feel pride when guests visit. Even though you might have an interior designer help you decorate, most of the time organization is lacking… Instead of throwing things in a spare room or closet, try creating a home for everything so when it is not in use, it can quickly and easily be put away. Then, it is just a matter of updating as you get older, priorities/interests change, etc. When the time comes to update labels and bins, it is also an opportunity to donate/sell/store certain items.
Taking the time to organize your space pays off in the end because you can quickly clean-up, not waste time searching for a missing item, and it allows guests to be self sufficient.
